Ishmael Sonico

In the spring of 2010, ishmail received his 200 hr, Vinyasa Yoga (basic, intermediate, advanced) certification in Aliso Viejo, California. In addition to yoga, he enjoys climbing, difficult hikes and bouldering in the desert!

“realize that your breath is most important and that the Difficulties/challenges are secondary.”

Practicing yoga reminds him to be present, appreciate where he is and know that every life experience supports personal growth.

“Come learn more, because a yoga practice teaches us more than what our bodies can do; your mind and breath (energy) are key too. After practice, you’ll feel stronger and wiser too! “

Lauren Roach

Lauren received her RYT 200 in Vinyasa and Yin in the spring of 2023. She has a foundation in classical ballet and has been teaching movement-based classes since she was 14 years old. You may recognize her as she has been part of the vertical family for about a year, usually working the front desk Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

She is excited to start teaching vinyasa on Tuesdays as she beliefs yoga is a wonderful tool to get in touch with your body, learn your personal limits, and to discover freedom of movement in a way you might not be familiar with!
